BAÑO DE OSCURIDAD. EL BOSQUE DENTRO DEL CUERPO.
Durante mi estancia en Kioto Japón en 2023, he estado investigando los bosques de bambú de Kioto con bailarines de Butoh bajo el tema "baños de bosque", (método de silencio japonés Shinrin Yoku) como práctica de escucha desde el cuerpo. En este trabajo, busco expresar la información recogida de la escucha atenta con el cuerpo en el bosque. En un ritmo de respiración y movimiento afectado por el entorno a través de la danza y la música.
En la imagen de vídeo, el movimiento corporal del bailarín de butoh Kenta Masukawa se propone como medio para que el público experimente una especie de habitar la frontera. Entre el bosque como organismo-cuerpo tecnológico, y su interrelación con el cuerpo humano en el entorno del club nocturno.
El tema original de música techno y house lo compuse y produje evocando a la idea de sótano y pasaje, entre la luz brillante y la oscuridad, los mismos medios que pueden habitar un Bosque y un Club simultáneamente y los mismos medios que pueden conectarlos entre sí.

BATH OF DARKNESS. FOREST INSIDE THE BODY.
During my stay in Kyoto Japan in 2023, I have been investigating the bamboo forests of Kyoto with Butoh dancers under the theme "forest baths", (Japanese silence method Shinrin Yoku) as a practice of listening from the body. In this work, I seek to express the information gathered from the attentive listening with the body in the forest. In a rhythm of breathing and movement affected by the environment through dance and music.
In the video image, the body movement of butoh dancer Kenta Masukawa is proposed as a means for the audience to experience a kind of inhabiting the border. Between the forest as a technological organism-body, and its interrelation with the human body in the nightclub environment.
The original techno and house music theme I produced evoking the idea of basement and passage, between bright light and darkness, the same means that can inhabit a Forest and a Club simultaneously and the same means that can connect them to each other.
