LOS SALMOS

Los Salmos es una obra en la que intervengo los textos de "El libro de los Salmos" (texto de la poesía hebrea). Borro las palabras dejando solo signos de puntuación (puntos, comas, signos de exclamación, signos de interrogación, paréntesis, guiones, etc.), signos que son el ritmo del texto. A partir de esta "edición", simbólicamente re-significó el contenido de los textos.

Algunas palabras se dejaron en el proceso de borrado aleatorio y luego se formó un nuevo poema textual en la correlación de ellas.

El resultado es un poema visual que luego traduzco en piezas de sonido que dan a cada signo un sonido específico.

SALMOS + NOISE + TECHNO

La performance del Live Set intervienen la Voz, el Ruido y el Techno.

Lectura en vivo Los Salmos otorgo a cada símbolo un sonido predefinido que se emitirá con la voz. Estos sonidos se graban en vivo generando un loop, superponiendo las lecturas a medida que avanza el conjunto. También registro la lectura del poema textual que fue creado con las palabras dejadas al azar.

Avanzando la performance los sonidos del género de preproducción de ruido del sintetizador SparkPunk se incorporan con la intención de alcanzar una estructura musical basada en el género Techno, brindando un set en vivo operado por un Electribe y una computadora con Ableton Live.

THE PSLAMS

The Psalms is a work in which I intervene the texts of The Book of the Psalms (text of Hebrew poetry). I erase the words leaving only punctuation marks (periods, commas, exclamation marks, question marks, parentheses, scripts, etc.), signs that are the rhythm of the text. From this ¨edition¨, I symbolically re-signified the content of the texts.

Some words were left in the process of random erasure and a new textual poem was then formed in the correlation of them.

The result is a visual poem that I then translate into sound pieces giving each sign a specific sound.

PSALMS + NOISE + TECHNO

Live performance set where the Voice, the Noise and the Techno intervene.

Reading live The Psalms granting each symbol a pre-defined sound that will be emitted with the voice. These sounds are recorded live generating a loop, overlapping the readings as the set progresses. It also records the reading of the textual poem that was created with the words left to chance.

Going through the Set, sounds of the genre Noise pre-producing by SparkPunk synthesizer are incorporated with the intention of reaching a musical structure based on the Techno genre, giving a live set operated by an Electribe and a computer with Ableton Live.
