La obra se presenta en formato de Instalación como objeto escultórico. Y en formato de Activación de Performance como Instrumento Sonoro. Durante la activación performática el sonido del traje convive e interrumpe a una serie de audios electrónicos compuestos desde el género Techno, Dark House experimental y Grabaciones de campo, dados en modo de Live Set divido en dos escenarios en la misma sala del auditorio.
The work is presented in Installation format as a sculptural object. And in Performance Activation format as a Sound Instrument. During the performance activation the sound of the suit coexists and interrupts a series of electronic audios composed ffrom the Techno genre, experimental Dark House and field recordings presented by a Live Set and Night Club format divided in two venues in the same exhibition room.

LA PIEL ES EL ESCENARIO. INSTRUMENTO PARA LA ESCUCHA.
La obra La piel es el escenario. Instrumento para la escucha. Surge de una búsqueda de explorar a los bordes del cuerpx como territorio y a la piel como primer escenario posible. En un intento de escuchar la piel y a su narrativa singular, confeccione un traje a mano con tela tejida en cobre (conductivo) y nylon. Como instrumento para la escucha de la piel y sus relatos silenciados, encapsulados, y vueltos abstractos. El traje funciona como instrumento para la escucha de la piel solo cuando es conectado a un sistema electrónico externo mayor. Pasando de órgano sensorio singular a órgano de un sistema corporal plural.

The work The skin is the stage. Instrument for listening. It arises from a quest to explore the edges of the body as territory and the skin as the first possible stage. In an attempt to listen to the skin and its singular narrative, I made a handmade suit with fabric woven in copper (conductive) and nylon. As an instrument for listening to the skin and its silenced, encapsulated, and abstracted narratives. The suit functions as an instrument for listening to the skin only when connected to a larger external electronic system. From a singular sensory organ to an organ of a plural body system.
